Koel Wilder began his musical career in 2004 as a bassist in the rock band Downkiss, with which he released an official album (called "Push me to the limits of the calculating madness") and two EPs. In 2013 he decided to start his solo project as a DJ and producer, focusing on genres such as electroswing, cumbia, electrocumbia, house, deep-house, tech-house, and general electro music, but never forgetting his rock roots. His DJs/sets immediately capture the listener's attention, in a perfect mix of various musical styles, between past and present and "not yet heard", all mixed in a current key, without ever falling into banality. In August 2015 Koel released his first EP called "LEAVE THE CITY" for Loud Dj's Records (now Big Tunes Records) and since then his production has not stopped. His latest release "La Mania" is available from March 2024 for Boom Music. Since November 2019 till May 2021 he was part of the roster of MOAI Platform. Over the years he has played in various clubs, festivals and locations around Italy. From September 2018 until May 2019 he was resident DJ at "Hard Rock Cafe Firenze" (FI). From 2016 until 2020 he was resident DJ at "Covo De Ricci" in Figline Valdarno (FI). He permanently collaborates with Poplive Radio where, since January 2023, he is the host of the radio show "The Music Bazaar," broadcast every Thursday at 9 pm.
